Rural Broadband Coalition Bridges City/Country Divide at ISPCON Spring Event
Small ISPs can get the edge they need to help serve some of the 60 million rural residents of the U.S. at ISPCON Spring. ISPCON, The Leading Event for Service Providers, running at the Baltimore Waterfront Marriott in Baltimore, Maryland, April 23-25, includes an Exchange, "Bringing Broadband to Rural Areas,"... RBC is a new organization formed in January 2003 to spearhead advocacy efforts and services for rural broadband loan/grant programs. Its formation came the same month the Department of Agriculture's Rural Utility Service (RUS) made $1.5 billion available under its new Rural Broadband Access Loan and Loan Guarantee programs.
