McDonald's adds WiFi to menu - Maureen Fan, Mercury News

Ten McDonald's restaurants in Manhattan are offering customers WiFi with their fries in a three-month experiment that will expand to several hundred restaurants by the end of the year, including Chicago and a yet-to-be-named city in California. With a high-profile campaign launched in conjunction with Intel's multimillion-dollar promotion of it new wireless chips, the world's most recognizable fast-food chain joins the growing ranks of hotels, coffee shops and airports offering consumers all Internet, all the time.
