E-classrooms becoming the norm at Ball State University
College classrooms at Ball State University are much more than just desks, chairs and chalkboards. The majority of classrooms on campus are now equipped with advanced electronic equipment, a project that was started seven years ago, said Ike Jones, coordinator of space utilization. High-tech consoles allow access to the Internet, CD-ROMs, videos, PowerPoint presentations and much more. The upgrades also allow students and professors to view digital media on large screens rather than desktop monitors.
