China. India. Israel. And now Jordan? Maybe. This nation of 5.3 million has begun a quest to be one of the world's technological centers. Led by young King Abdullah II, Jordan's growing cadre of (largely) Western-educated technology entrepreneurs has scrambled to put the country's capital, Amman, on the IT map, in spite of the fact that many in the West associate the country more with the Arab/Israeli conflict than with technological advances.
