One more step for education - Adam Madison, Gary Post-Tribune

Andrea Peppler-Murray would spend two months writing a paper for her classes at Purdue University Calumet. But that changed as of Friday, when the university unveiled a program that gives disabled students access to electronic information on computers. For Peppler-Murray, who is disabled, that means trading in the pointer she used to type with for a faster method. The program, called A.C.C.E.S.S. (Adaptive Computer Center for Effective Special Services), provides all the information available at Purdue Calumet to disabled students through a unique integration of software and hardware purchased with library funds.
