Hacker uses UNCC server - Nicole Palermo
The FBI has received several complaints within the past week about a fake eBay web page asking customers for personal information. Karin Steinbrenner, chief information officer at UNC Charlotte, said that someone who seemed to be a professional hacker obtained access to a UNCC server to place a fraudulent eBay Web page. The Web page that was created looked like an official eBay page with their logo, type face and links to auction sites.
