DirecTV DSL's Exit Limits Choices - Associated Press
With DirecTV Broadband poised to dismantle its high-speed Internet service, consumers are losing one of the last alternatives to the increasingly dominant telephone and cable giants. Cupertino, California, DirecTV, founded 5-1/2 years ago as Telocity, plans to begin turning off parts of its network Friday.
