CES witnesses rollout of 802.11g products - Matthew Miller, CommVerge
At last week's CES show in Las Vegas, the rollout of 802.11g wireless-LAN products begin in earnest. The 802.11g specification, which offers a top speed of 54 Mbits/sec while operating in the same 2.4-GHz frequency space as 802.11b, is officially still in the draft stage.
