Putting Pen to Paper, With a 21st-Century Twist - MICHEL MARRIOTT, NY Times
Do you simply prefer the feel and versatility of real ink on real paper? Lots of people do, and they can use the new InkLink handwriting system from Seiko Instruments to get the most out of old-fashioned ink and newfangled electronics. The $100 system (available at www.seikosmart.com) includes an electronic ballpoint pen, an infrared transceiver resembling a clip-on microphone and a sliver of technology called a Data Clip. To use it, one simply writes or draws on ordinary paper. A copy of the marks appears simultaneously on the screen of an attached personal organizer or PC.
