Computer science majors may see less job opportunities - Alina Dizik, The Daily Illini
For many of the 874 computer science majors in the College of Engineering, finding a job might not be as easy as doing a Google search and sending out their resumes.... It is harder for recent graduates to find jobs because there is a surplus of computer science professionals with experience, Coddington said. He also said that because many "dot com" businesses and other companies are going out of business, there is an increase in the number of computer science professionals in the job market.
