A digital artist has created a Web-authoring tool that he thinks may reflect the spirit of artists everywhere. Inventor and Netomat chief scientist Maciej Wisniewski is becoming known as a rebel in the fold that includes HTML (hypertext markup language), Flash, XML (extensible markup language) and a host of techno-friendly languages that do not always speak to the artists who use them. "NML, or Netomatic markup language, is an XML/Java-based program developed for rich media," Wisniewski told NewsFactor. "NML is a rebel of sorts -- not intended to replace HMTL or Flash, per se, but to provide an alternative."...
