Most notably, Apple said it is putting a DVD-burning drive in its eMac computer for $1,499. Previously, Apple's lowest price for a DVD-burning computer was $1,799. ``With the fourth quarter coming up, they're looking to grab the consumer's attention,'' said Charles Smulders, analyst for the Gartner/Dataquest research group. ``Having a new eMac which is $1,499 with a Superdrive, that's certainly an intriguing offer for consumers, and i think will attract attention.''...
