http://www.msnbc.com/news/782802.asp PC sales decline but recovery seen ASSOCIATED PRESS SAN JOSE, Calif., July 19 — Sales of personal computers declined in the second quarter for the fifth consecutive time, but the industry still is inching toward a recovery for 2002. In the quarter ended June 30, worldwide PC shipments were 31.1 million, down 0.5 percent from the year-ago period, according to the technology research firm International Data Corp. Preliminary data from Gartner Dataquest were nearly the same. Both firms released their findings Thursday....
