Lack of information concerning web accessibility not only contributes to the digital divide, but can lead to serious legal problems as well. Lawsuits can arise because of U.S. legislation that required all web sites receiving federal funds to meet accessibility directives by the spring of 2001. The goal of this paper is to provide clarification of the accessibility statutes and offer resources and information to assist in successfully developing accessible web sites....
