Nishina, now also a professor at the national institute's International Student Center, established a Web site in 1999 called "Asunaro" (http://hinoki.ryu.titech.ac.jp), which features a multilingual reading comprehension system designed to help international students of science and technology in Japan cope with documents written in Japanese.
