Daina Klimanis says she was never a big-time MP3 abuser -- she never had hundreds of songs on her hard drive, available to anyone who happened to find her on the file-sharing service Aimster. "I guess I had a pretty conservative view of music sharing," says Ms. Klimanis, a freshman at the University of Maryland here, adding that she had downloaded only songs she was thinking about buying. "I have a friend who is a musician, and he converted me to the artists' rights side of the argument."...
