Baylor students, professor help village's students get wired into world

After finishing a teaching internship in a village in northern Belize this spring, Baylor University junior Sara Eisenbarth wanted to do more for her students. Most of her class were nearing the age of 14, when many in the village of Cristo Rey drop out of school to work in the sugar cane fields. In Cristo Rey, a village of about 700, the cane fields are where most people make their living.... Eisenbarth wanted to give her students more options. So in August, she and two electrical engineering students, Sara Hahn and Walt Ford, returned to the Central American country. They revamped the village's computer lab with new equipment and Internet access....
