Please take a look at Mac OS X.1 By David Coursey, AnchorDesk This weekend, Apple released the first major revision to System X, the Unix-based Macintosh operating system of the future. The new version, called 10.1 (or should I write X.1?), cleans up some of the loose ends from the first release, especially by improving performance. OS X is the nicest operating system I've ever seen. It works like an OS should work, but is very different from all previous Mac operating systems. Mostly, this is a good thing for average users, though people used to troubleshooting Mac problems must begin their education pretty much from scratch....
