Microsoft builds a better mouse

As technophiles, we're constantly tinkering with our systems--adding a new graphics card, installing a faster CD-R/RW drive, upgrading the operating system, and so on. But we rarely give much thought to the mouse. It turns out, however, that it has lots of room for improvement. Microsoft was the first to introduce an optical mouse--one that uses a sensor rather than moving parts--a couple of years ago. Earlier this year, competitor Logitech shipped its latest take on the technology, a wireless optical mouse called the Cordless MouseMan Optical. NOW MICROSOFT has responded with the Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer, arguably the most comfortable, advanced mouse currently available....
