She warns the class that last year about 800 students -- nearly a third of the freshman class -- plugged their modem cables into the spot where the network cables were supposed to go. After that mistake, 800 laptops had to be repaired. "So I want to be reeeeally clear," the instructor cautions. "Silver, bigger -- network jack. Black, smaller -- modem jack."...
