Over the past week, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Information Services has seen an increase of "worm" viruses that invade computers through e-mail and network connections.... The university has suffered some substantial financial losses because of viruses, Hayes said. Losses for some crashes have been valued from $2,000 to "tens of thousands of dollars," Hayes said....
