By Daniel Tynan July 10, 2001 While researchers tap Internet2 to extend collaboration between universities and push the limits of new Internet technologies, another group of social scientists is looking at how Internet2 is affecting those who use it—in effect, researching the researchers. Stephanie Teasley studies how researchers at the Great Lakes Regional Center For AIDS Research (CFAR) use Internet2 to collaborate. At CFAR, scientists from four universities—Michigan, Northwestern, Wisconsin and Minnesota—can merge their complementary expertise to better compete with other facilities....
