Welcome! I am a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the Department of Business Administration and a faculty member at the University of Illinois at Springfield.

My dissertation research assesses the fit of organizational and interorganizational systems with business processes. The primary objective of this research is the development and testing of a Process-Technology Fit model. We test the model with four empirical studies on e-procurement which assess the fit from various perspectives. My secondary research interests are in the areas of electronic commerce adoption and strategies. Specifically, I am interested in the Internet technology adoption decisions in organizations with a single decision maker, as well as the selection of electronic commerce strategies and initiatives for brick-and-mortar businesses as they adapt their business models to include the Internet.

My primary teaching interests are the areas of Electronic Commerce, IS Strategy, and Database Management. These interests draw from my classroom experiences and my research work. At the University of Illinois, I taught Database Management & Design for four semesters while obtaining the University's Graduate Teaching Certificate and earning recognition on the University's List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent by their Students.

Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, I was employed as a Computer Training Specialist and an adjunct Business Instructor at Lake Land College, where I provided customized computer training programs and public seminars for area employers.

More information on my teaching, research, and other relevant experiences can be found by clicking on the links or by contacting me.
