A Word from the Chair
Welcome to the first edition of the College of Education and Human Services Faculty and Student Electronic Journal (“the e-Journal”). It has truly taken a village to create the e-Journal. The idea for this began during EHS Strategic Planning discussions well over one year ago. I would like to acknowledge the e-Journal Ad Hoc Committee for their ongoing efforts this semester:
Larry Stonecipher, Dean Vickie Cook Neal Headman Jennifer Herring Nithya Karuppaswamy Loretta Meeks
Many thanks to Dr. Cook and Dr. Herring for their technological expertise in breathing life into the Journal!
I would also like to thank the EHS Blind Review Panel:
Rachell Anderson Kathleen Burns James Klein Martin Martsch Daniel Matthews Denise Sommers
The e-Journal highlights the scholarly achievements of EHS students, faculty, and academic professionals. Please consider submitting an outstanding student paper or thesis, an abstract of a paper already published elsewhere, or original research. The Submission Guidelines and Instructions for Authors explain this process in greater detail. Note that authors retain all rights to their submissions. The next issue should appear in late April 2008. Until then, continue to “prepare future leaders to promote the worth and capacity of all persons” (from the EHS Mission Statement).
Larry Livingston Chair, EHS Ad Hoc Research e-Journal Committee
