Statement of Purpose

The University of Illinois-Springfield College of Education and Human Services electronic Journal (“the e-Journal”) provides a forum for UIS faculty and students to have scholarly work published in an online format. The e-Journal is a result of the College of EHS Strategic Planning that occurred in 2006. Strategic goals include creating academic excellence, professional leaders, and engaged citizenship.  Within the area of training professional leaders, one best practices and technology goal was “the creation of a College of Education and Human Services electronic journal, published two times per year, which highlights faculty and student scholarship”.
