Allan F. Cook, Ed.D., is an Associate Professor
of Education in the College of Education and
Human Services, University of Illinois at
Springfield. Dr. Cook teaches courses in Social Studies and
Humanities methods for elementary teachers, Reading for
elementary teachers, Content Area Reading, English methods
for secondary majors, and
Teaching and Learning for elementary majors.
Dr. Cook is the Certification and Assessment Officer for the Education Division. He is also the faculty sponsor for the Student Education Association and Kappa Delta Pi, co-chair of the UIS Alliance, webmaster for the College of Education and Human Services, and daddy" to two spoiled felines (Arnie and Moose).
